I think you can get arrested for dropping animals off, they call it abandonment.

I know you can or if they decide they dont want to arrest you there is still big fines, vet fees and court cost.

Call Jefferson county animal control, explain the situation, they'll come get them ...... i know you fall on the other side of county line, but worth a shot.....jeff co. was always very responsive to stray calls. All else fails, drive too county line, call and say they wandered into road and you're just trying too help

If your gonna have goats and cannot disbud them either get wire small enough they can't get there horns hung in it, or kill the foliage far enuff from the fence they won't be sticking there head thru to eat. Lol so the deputy don't see you in a rain coat and muck boots covering just you in your underwear @ 3am trying to free a goat that is crying like a dying calf in a hail storm !!!!

Funny story. Sue is my grandmas name. She wanted white eggs from white leggers. Won't eat brown eggs. So my mom bought me 3 white leghorn pullets and 3 bantams for Easter. The leghorns are named Sue (for my grandma), Peggy and Sandy are her best friends names.

I had been calling the 2 boys Foghorn and leghorn lol I just have leghorn now.

The color is laid down on a basic white egg, so the hen adds pigment if she has the genes for it.

Brown, yes...blue eggs, though, are blue throughout the shell... so green are blue with brown spray paint. This can be observed by looking aft the inside of a cracked egg...brown eggs have white interior, blue or green have blue interior

I got 2 wethers out there now but we've had so much rain they can't keep up ill probably be buying goat chow all winter but I can't help it I love my goats
