Yep, in addition to canned tomatoes. It has much more flavor than just canned tomatoes.so you use it like tomatoes. I dont like the hot.
I don't like hot either, thats why I make 2 strengths of salsa, lol. Hubs eats his on nachos, I cook with mine.so you use it like tomatoes. I dont like the hot.
You use it to season your food. It is like Latin ketchup .ok, I give up. LOL What do you do with salsa ? I know people dip chips in it but thats a lot of chips.
Gotta figure out some inexpensive sides.I forgot bread so no sandwich tomorrow. One each was a loaf of bread and it didnt fill them up.
I take a chicken we already had a meal from (2 of us) then i take all the meat off i can. Put it in the fridge for later.Then i boil the bones for at least an hour. I add a couple cubes of bullion. After that, i take the bones out and get more meat off them. Toss the bones and start adding veggies. I add equal amounts of diced potatoes and carrots as hubby likes it that way. If i have turnips or parsnips they go in too. And chopped onion and celery if i have it. I add Italian spices and garlic, salt and pepper. Once the veggies are cooked, i throw the meat all in. He would love it if i canned lots of it. I may have to learn how.I will have to pick his brain lol
If you leave a hot pepper whole & in it while it is heating it makes them fiery hot.I imagine the longer that site the hotter it gets ?
