Granny's gone and done it again

Im home honey ! I didnt get to go anywhere except walmarts. Their shelf's were pretty bare. No meat except for 2 steaks and some bison. I found a package of paper napkins that looked soft enough for this ol bum and a bottle of creamer .Same brand different flavor . I will probably hate it. Sweet cream I think. I dont think I did a very good job but I only had $200.00 and it came to $170.00 . They are locking up at 11:00 now. They almost dont have any food. I got milk and I noticed the neighbor across from me has laying hens so I am going to ask him about eggs.
Hubs and I looked around Target and Costco. There was still a lot of food on the shelves in both places, but all the paper products and disinfectants were GONE. I think since you are so rural, you are not getting replenished as quickly as other more populated areas. You don't have a lot to choose from there.

I hope our restaurants dont close Alley but if we cant get food how are they getting it ? Will you get paid if they close completely ? Im pretty sure thats what your mayor said.
Congress is working on legislation that will assist folks who miss wages due to the virus... how and when is another story. A national emergency has been declared, which makes it easier to get help to people that need it.

Man this cough is getting worse. I just used Toms breather. Gonna have to hunt mine down.
Did the inhaler help?

Congress will probably vote a raise for themselves, and adjourn until it's safe to be out in public.

I am not sure I believe what I am about to say so grain of salt yall. Remember when I told you all about the hospitals talking loved ones out of performing CPR on the seniors? They were telling everyone it will break all their ribs and they will suffer. I confronted a nurse about that asking her if thats what they were making her tell us. You know if the elders are gone that SS $ is freed up. Just sayin..... And if they cant do it one way then maybe they try something else.

No, it really is easy to break ribs doing CPR. But better to have busted ribs than be dead!

I worry about all the people that will be starving and losing their homes. Hardly anyone will be working.
Congress is working on getting $$ to people who need it. No one should starve with the food stamp system, and I think those are going to be easier to get given the economic circumstances. Congress can also pass laws so banks can't foreclose during a national emergency and things like that. Restaurant and travel industries are being hit the hardest. If we can keep the virus from spreading, it will be over sooner. If everyone works together and leaves the politics at home, we should, as a nation, be able to handle what this virus throws at us.

Thing is, I was in there w/ my aunt and then my mom and was told the exact same thing like it was read from a book.

I certainly hope so. Bet the crime rate goes up.
