Granny's gone and done it again

Maybe the whole spur coming off will allow it to grow back straight. I think I would take the other side off now. Get it all over with.
No, not for me. Way too painful. Other than needing to trim them, the spurs aimed inward is great for the hens. Girls don't get hurt at all. We'll see how it grows out. Either way it will need trimming. Keep it from growing into his leg or blunt it so the hens don't take damage.

ohh I see. I never thought about the hens.

I got a feeling it aint gonna be Robert
Yeah, I know.
If I was a dr, or anyone that had to get up close and personal with people in a small space, I would want them to wear a mask. It would be my constitutional right to run my business the way I see fit, for my protection since I would be risking my health for their benefit. Doesn't really matter if it's 100% effective if it's what the dr wants.
It's all about give and take..

I imagine pulling off a spur would be like someone pulling off my fingernail. 😧
Poor guy couldn't put any weight on that leg last night. He's still got a serious limp today and stands on one leg. Not sure if that is just from the quick being exposed or if one of the psycho hens hurt him through the fence. Nothing broken that I could tell.

Can you drive home from there so you are coming from the other direction and don't have to go up the hill to get to the driveway?

Around here the valve is not good enough to get you in for an appointment... they ask you to put on a surgical mask instead. Valve is safe for person wearing it, but valve allows exhaled droplets to be vented out easily so dr or dentist or whoever is seeing you are at greater risk for being exposed to the virus.

Growing up we had Ridgebacks and RR crosses. Their tails were like whips! First one we had broke a vein at the back of my mom's leg... she got a huge hematoma. It was a very happy dog, but you had to watch out for that tail whip!
Yep they cause havoc. No coffee table here.

Guess what today is Wishing. Booo... Robert just reminded me.
Yup. I need to change out the litter box.
I should do that now and bring in some firewood. Haven't lit a fire in awhile and the house got cold last night. Not much sun today so a fire will be welcome.
