Granny's gone and done it again

The meds I am getting are not sold without a script in the US. I have seen drugs sold otc in Mexico for a lot less than what we pay here. Never bought any but new people who a few decades back crossed over just to buy certain meds there for pennies on the dollar.
It's much more dangerous these days with the cartels horning in on the action. You never know if it's the real stuff or not.

I'd never even dream of walking the streets of Ciudad Juárez now like we could back in the 70's. Then taking morning tour of the open air markets and haggling for prices with the vendors for painting and other junk art. I got to see the good, bad, and ugly of the inner workings of the people and some of their infamous Federal police taking bribes and even soliciting bribes from us. When we parked on a street we paid a quarter for protection to keep our vehicle from being vandalized. From where we parked to a block down where the hotel restaurant was we were solicited at every doorway to visit the ladies...... The minister that had our group of young men down there for charity labor knew it was going to happen and didn't warn us. Lots of memories from being down there when we all were young and able bodied to do that type of work.

Our storms are starting....
We got some sleet and later, rain and sleet mixed. I think it has stopped for now, but it's cold as a well-digger's boots out there!

My mom and stepdad did that. Bought pills for their asthma. Ended up killing my mom. They were prednisone.
Oh, that's terrible, and so sad! Apparently there's no guarantee you're getting what you think you're paying for ...

you need my vet. VERY VERY reasonable.
Does your vet treat yaks? Do you know what they charge to treat yaks? Seems like it would be a specialty. I bet Dr. Jeff, that Rocky Mt. vet in Denver does. And he's just crazy enough to drive up to Twist's to do it and only charge him for the gas, or not at all!

I was 17 in the summer of '64. Right out of high school and had my kid brother with me. He was 11. We rode a buss alone out of central FL to S Cal and up to Oregon to a relatives place in Eugene. While in San Fran we walked China Town and saw the wax museum that had Elvis already in it then. Fast forward to 2010. That kid brother worked as an embedded systems engineer and had to go to the home office in SF. The things he saw happening on the streets were below 3rd world and the taxi driver told him that is was nothing that he needed to cross a bridge to get to where it was bad.
