Granny's gone and done it again

Started PT today. It was fun......not but it was interesting. Only yelped 3 times and he worked on my arm for over a half an hour. Came home with two new exercises and have to go back on Friday. Two days a week for now.

I asked the therapist what his thoughts were as to how I managed to mess my shoulder up so badly just from making an emergency stop and he said probably what started the failure was my profession as doing the type of physical work that nurses do moving and lifting can cause partial tears and tendon thinning. The emergency stop on my dirt bike just finished the tendons failure.

So as of today, 8 days till freedom from my sling. A guy was leaving as I was going in this morning and he was wearing a brand new pillow sling. I looked down at my sling, starting to look a bit beat up at this point and wearing cat hair from our little gray cat insisting on sleeping on my chest at night and in the crook of my right arm and wanted to tell the guy he was a newby. Or at least an amateur.

When we were pulling out of the parking lot an ambulance and rescue was pulling into the Micky D's next door. DH wondered aloud what had happened and naturally I had to say one too many Big Macs.

I seen something in the floor right in front of my chair. It kinda looked like rope or string to me. I even kicked it with my foot trying to figure it out. I called Robert in to look and ... ya, it was grass. The dog had puked up. :sick :gig
You were lucky that you only nudged it with your toe. I would have trod in the mess barefooted and smeared it everywhere.

No, wait, I did that last week. With 4 cats and 6 dogs in one part of the house or the other somebody is always barfing around here.

Ugh! 3 dogs, 2 cats .. not too much barf, and thanks to the Lord, GC takes care of it pretty willingly. Unless it's half a baby bunny or something like that.

You know what? The rest of you use names. I shall, as well. GC is Melissa. Goes by Lissa. YS is Elijah, or Lij. They are adults now.
