Just reminded me of something my mom did . Of course I got my nose in everything. She was going to clean a chicken for dinner and I followed her outside. Well she snatched that chicken up by the neck ,lifted her arm in the air and started swinging that chicken in circles while hanging on to the neck then sh did a quick flick with he wrist and threw it to the ground . We are standing there staring at it and she says thats how its done. The chicken made a noise that startled me and she explained how that was just reflexes. About that time that thing jumped up with its whole neck hanging down and started running in circles and squawking. Mom screamed, I screamed the chicken took off at a run and I never did see it again. LOL
LOL.....I've had them flop around for a while but never get back up and run off.

I took the chick out of the cup, but its poor legs and toes are all curled and its head only goes to one side. I took the dry chicks out and put them in the brooder, then put the curled up chick back in the bator. Hopefully it will straighten and strengthen with enough room to move. :/ Guess no chicks to the feed store this week.

By the way, my only chicken that is old enough to lay eggs is back to laying them every day since i bought the layer crumbles. Guess she didn't like the All Feed.

Evertime i see one of you hatching babies i want to do it so badly. I think it would be wonderfull to see them hatching. I don't have a incubater or eggs to hatch. I only have one chicken old enough to lay eggs. All my other 36 chicks are 3 months or younger.
