I feel ya, DD and hers are supposed to come over today. I am thinking about all that was said yesterday. Konner wanting to stay here for school Jamie telling me he does better with me then her. I am 53 and disabled. he is 11. This is breaking my heart because I dont know that I am able or willing. We would be talking school meetings, clothes, drs. the whole nine yards with no help

Still no goat babies. Each broody had one more chick, but the cochin had killed hers again. The one she hatched yesterday also died. So I gave her last two eggs to the BCM and HRIR, one each. The cochin has been broody FOR. EVER. so maybe I'll try to give her a few of the older chicks from my Sally hatch.

I would just dispose of her. What good is a broody who kills chicks.

Granny, it's okay to say no. You give plenty of help by just being there for your family. That's a lot of work. And it's not a good idea with you being the only driver.

Morning all, I'm back in cooler UT. Yesterday in NV it was 115. So glad to be back home.

The baby is being sent to one of the big children's hospitals in CA. They want to do brain surgery to remove the calcified part of his brain. The baby is stable and doing OK. They have changed his meds.

My little bantam Roo is starting to get the hang of crowing. Not very loud but while I was out watering and feeding chicks he kept crowing. I was talking back to him telling him how great he was sounding or I hear ya. Lol.

My nice didn't do a very good job of taking care of my chicks when I was gone. When I checked them when I got home they had no feed or water. Was going to go to Manti, Ut for a couple days, but if nice can't do a better job I won't be going next week.

Camping glad chicks are better hope your goat has her kid soon.

Twisted get a fan to sit in front of to cool down. You can put a bowl of ice in front of fan which will make the air cooler.

Hi granny how's your hand doing. It might help if you put it in a brace or keep an ace bandage on it.

Red hope your back is feeling better. You shouldn't have moved a dresser. But that's calling kettle black as I would have done same thing. But I would have gotten impatient and moved it by myself. Get better.

Granny, it's okay to say no. You give plenty of help by just being there for your family. That's a lot of work. And it's not a good idea with you being the only driver.

He is treated different from the rest . its not a good place for him. I am really torn.
