there is a "live trap" out there but where to put it in the coop mick catch chicks. outside and might not catch the actual offender. not sure if we can mount it on a post or not.

can you put it in after they go to roost and take it out before they wake ? I dont know, just asking. I put mine on the outside of the wire, put the rest or a piece of the dead chicken in it.

Hi Twist, back. Has been a bit lol. Not totally sold on the Swedes yet. My vote is still out on them. I added a unrelated line this spring. Just waiting to see if they do better than the ones I got from a local breeder. Love the birds temperment, but have not been impressed with their egg size. It is all over the place.
