I always though barn cats were important to help rid of rodents with all the livestock around.

they are to get rid of rodents but not the livestock. LOL These are now eating his chickens. I think he may just have too many. 3-4 "broken" girls would do the trick.

Robert quit feeding the farm/barn/garage cats last week and now they have been caught killing a chicken today.

There are going to be a few less kitties real soon.

Roberts cats are killing Twists chickens because Robert stopped feeding them. I would be mad too. The cats cant help it I understand that too. Rod, bought some cat food so hopefully he is taking over the job of caring for them.

Good kitty! I have heard that if the mother doesn't teach a kitten how to hunt, they aren't good hunters. We had an excellent barn cat that caught huge pack rats longer than she was. The rest of the cats we ever had on the farm were worthless, except for petting and killing my parakeet.

My indoor cat is terrified of mice. Runs from them. I dont care, not why I have him. Outdoor cats are sick. Have been for a while. snotty noses. I wormed them and they look better but not by much.
