there is no one in that coop that was sick before. the only way would be to pick it up from the coop itsefl or bring it in again. wish i could get out there and check them myself. the white leghorn didnt skip a beat in her laying. i still havent read up on them. are the the ones used in factories? i stopped burying my chicks/chickens. they kept getting dug up and i didnt have the strength to do it anyway so i feed the coyotes. , crows whatever is there.

Granny the respiratory disease problem that your chickens have can be passed from coop to coop by the wind. So, I hate to have to tell you this, but as long as you have a chicken breathing on your place, any new chickens you bring in will be infected.

........such is the life of a chicken owner and her chickens.......

Enola, all the sick chickens are gone a month or so now. none that i kept had been sick. they were in the pole barn and the guinea coop. the coop they are in now was disinfected so, am i missing something? i was going to get rid of all of them come spring but they didnt get sick in there so i am thinking it is gone.

have you read up on the egyption fayoumis? they are some type of sick resistant. i have forgotten now but its my understanding they are very health hardy birds. now you got me worried. lol i am gonna have to go back and read my posts to make sure what i am telling you is right.

i cant do pics either. i gave up. someone puts them on here for me well on my files and i can get them from there to here.i also lived in FL. for a few. only place i know where you can outrun the rain. what is fibromyalgia?is that where someone pokes you and you say OUCH ?i have had a few nurses ask me lately if i had that and one dr/ too.my daughter has that and she said its from vit. d being low. i dont know anything about it. I do seem to have a lot of pain.

Yes, in a way it is when someone pokes you and you say ouch! LOL. Unfortunately much more complicated. Most common are muscle aches or sore muscles and arthritic symptoms and disturbed sleep or not sleeping. Vitamin D being low is one issue I deal with but not the cause. I will have to get someone to show me how to upload pics.
