I love the pullets tophat. Pretty good for $1/dozen eggs at the auction. Want to go back & get maran fertile eggs to hatch but we re having trouble making ends meet & i like to eat!

Forgot how - like forgot in the oven? Sorry, was out having "date day" with DH --- hit the re-store, goodwill and had lunch out.

Oh, they might be Old English Game bantams! Those are supposed to be wonderful little birds. Very friendly.
I don't have enough patience. I would take some cookies to thank him for the eggs and ask to see the birds the eggs came from.

Cockerels wake me up early every morning, and I lay there thinking, why did I hatch more???

Wouldn't it be lovely if the "magic egg shape selection" actually worked? Just think how nobody would have unwanted cockerels again.....everyone could just choose to hatch pullets.
