Twist, there are youtube videos for giving subQ vaccines to cattle. Nothing for yak. The vet can teach you how. Different than intramuscular, which was what most of the horse shots were that I remember. BIG needles. Makes me laugh when people freak out over the tiny little things they use for us humans.

the one they gave me today didnt seem so little. LOL It has to go in a muscle .

X 2 -- @twisted-acres-farm , do you have chutes/headgates/etc to use for working them? Given the trendiness/popularity of larger order animals that is taking hold (ie your yaks, bison, etc) the industry has answered with equipment geared for things bigger than standard beef cattle - and/or construction of something of your own would be another option as you can build it to your specific needs and configuration to help overcome the challenges of trying to move/work them, etc.

Thats the only one like that. another hen looks just like her except for the tufs. My favorite is still the gold / blue hen.
I got a new egg today. very dark brown. First one since I rehomed all my others. so now I have all the good colors !
