That's exactly why I want a dog around.   You can't fight back if you don't know anybody's coming.

Yelp any dog that barks is very good protection. Moms got a pom that lets her know when any car that she's not use to hearing goes through the neighborhood.

I'm cold, wet and miserable. It's just been a steady rain. The chickens stayed in all day and the ducks went out and played all day. Lol
