I hate to hear of them babies dying. wonder if there is any home remedys until pay day ? if its going through them faster then it should then they arent getting fed right ? maybe a paste concentrate? if their pooping themself to death some peanut butter ? theres bound to be something.
I lost 4 yesterday and completely changed their bedding. Today, I lost 3 but one of them seemed to have gotten stomped in the water dish. I found it before it died but I couldn't save it.

I have been giving them the electrolyte water, canned pumpkin, yes, peanut butter, vinegar water - not at the same time as the electrolyte water. Dry food, wet food, I have added karo syrup to their water, food, peanut butter, and pumpkin. My husband told me his money came in today so when he gets back we will run over to TSR or whatever it is and see if I can get some Corid. Hopefully, they carry it out here.

Their breast bones are sharp so either they are not eating or like you said it is running right through them. They do seem to have full bellies though but no pasty butts and their bedding is not full and nasty. The Silkies and Guineas are fine though. It's only the little ones that are dying off.

I am so upset by losing them that I want to put more on to incubate but I am so tired of the mess and having to clean it up all the time. I incubate them here in the house and their brooder is a cage sitting on the floor on a tarp but they still somehow manage to kick their food and shavings past the tarp onto the floor. I was looking forward to not having so much work to do for a few months before I started incubating again. I have not fully decided to start another incubator of eggs but not making that decision is being helped by all my pullets starting to lay now. I don't know if the eggs are fertile and as I understand it, for the first few weeks the eggs won't be fertile, so I have been trying to keep my mind off the incubator.

Just saw the pictures of your birds. Wow! They are just beautiful. Everyone's! I love looking at the pictures. Kernel Sanders

I had never even heard of candy corns before but they are lovely. All of mine are standard size except for the little bantam EE.

Granny, you really need to keep your boot on when you're out and about.

Ok, I got it!!!!

I prepared a gallon and gave it to them but they are still hollering. They have eaten all their food, would it be ok to mix some of the corid water into their food?

Yes, you can soak food with it. Don't use dark Karo syrup, because the molasses can cause diarrhea and dehydration.

I think when I originally bought the karo syrup it was for our use and I don't like the dark so it is all light karo syrup.

I don't know what is wrong with them but whatever it is coccidiosis or whatever, I hope this takes care of it. It cost $20 for a pkg and they had the other stuff there that is some kind of complete antibiotic but I don't know if I can afford that too.

I would swap the karo out for some regular sugar. they love wet food. moist w/ a bit of sugar for some quick energy. they ate the chicken good, do you have some canned meat ? chicken , tuna ?

Fish! Fish is supposed to be good for them! I have Pink Salmon and Mackerel in cans, do you think that would work?
