So sorry to hear that Jane. Hopefully its just a sprain, but those can bother you longer than a break sometimes. I can definitely relate to grandma taking care of a 2 year old. You don't have time to even go to the bathroom let alone anything else. I think you have mentioned it before, but suffering with CRS syndrome. Do you take care of them while parents work or are your their guardian if that isn't too nosey of me?
My oldest daughter got pregnant when she was 16. So I have practically raised my gd. She is now married & has to boys as well. Love my grandkids to the moon & back, but they sure can be exhausting.

Don t have custody gs chooses to stay with us. Mom moved to different school district. He is fiifteen. 2 year old stays when dd works
So your a full time Nanny too. They are such a blessing, but God knows why I had mine when I was young. They are exhausting, mentally (teenager) & physically :lau

Please bear with me.. I'm SO Excited! Magic, my 15 mo old Lab in training gets to meet his new prospective client on Sunday! Dan, an 18 year old with hearing loss, seizures and autism just lost his service dog Honey to cancer 2 weeks ago. :hit I have a feeling this will be a great match! :fl It's up to Dan and Magic. Prayers for a new team? Here's a pic of Dan and one of Magic. .
Looks like a great match to me. Beautiful dogs!
Very special Mutt, looks like they are going to be a great match.

Some of my pullets that i hatched in June & July. Bought more wheat today to ferment. Lady at farmers coop gave me a funny look when i said i was fermenting it for my chicks. She probably thought of alcoholic fermentation. Maybe she thought i was getting chickens drunk. Was going to try cracked corn fermentation but it was $2 more so stayed with wheat.

Quote: I have a pooch similar size and color. Probably a poodle cross, but who knows. Just showed up about 5 yrs ago. Looks like you live in paradise, at least when it's not winter! Planning a new flock is great! So many choices, and now that you have some, it's easier to know what you want. One of my favorites is New Hampshire. Classic American chicken and so beautiful in the sun!

HATE TO BREAK IT TO YALL BUT I AM RIGHT HANDED.

Just making sure everyone sees it.

Thanks y'all for the compliments on Ben. He's just doing super well.

This morning he sat like a gentleman for his food. Only a week! Sure, that's not super fast, but it's something we only practice twice a day.
That's okay, we love you anyway!

Congratulations on raising funds. Doing good!

You should all have a go at making it, very easy. Even I can do it. "Can't cook, won't cook" me!!

I'm RIGHT handed too

If we have snow here it brings the country to a standstill. People just can't seem to get on with it. They all drive too fast in it, crash which in turn cause havoc

You couldn't help it! We won't hold it against you!

Much as I am hoping for rain, I'm not looking forward to driving in it. Seems like the rain melts peoples' brains and turns them into idiots. Or they're distracted. What is that stuff falling from the sky? CRASH! Not going to help that my 17 yr old will have his license soon and be driving on his own.

This is toooo tempting. I just told hubs last week that I am considering a few runner ducks next year. I had ducks as a kid and loved them, and the runners are supposed to be good layers. Are they friendly at all? Noisy? Where did you get them? I want ones that stand up really tall! quack!

can picture drunk chickens stumbling around, smoke hanging out the beak, belly up to the bar boys, this ones on me !!
