Going to get four baby chicks. Question, I started working with safeguard. I'm suppose to do it again Wednesday for the last time. Well my Cochin decided this morning would be a good time to go broody I think. Do I worm the rest a get her later or do I fight with her now?

Honestly I would fight her now. IMHO would be better then taking a chance of her becoming re-infected or developing more resistance to the safeguard. The swing set tractor/coop sounds get before /during/and after pics would be great. you could also post them on the new articles section.

Good morning all.........I think I caught York's hangover

and I didn't even imbibe

Also I haven't noticed any feathers out of her breath. Do they always do that. It is cold out this morning 38. Yesterday when I let her out she ate some grass and ff but then stood still for about five minutes staring off in space. She did go back to eating some but she seemed a little different. Is this a sign or is something wrong? This morning she's sitting on eggs. I reached in and pet her. She looked at me and screeched. She's new to me and still runs from me. So I'm thinking she's broody. Hope she's ok and not sick.

My broodies have not plucked themselves. Screeching is a pretty good indicator. :lau Broodies are just crazy. They do crazy things that don't make sense.
