So, sold 7 birds today (pending meet-up on Thursday), 3 light brahma, 3 golden laced wyandottes and one little mutt - and bought 6 eight month old barred rock pullets(picking up on Saturday), possibly 9 if the 3 seven month old white leghorns I am waiting to hear back on are still available (somebody got in line before me tomorrow, kind of hoping he flakes, lol). Was supposed to stay home and do fencing this weekend, oops,

. These young'uns will hold us over on production through the winter and next summer while the birds I start in the spring are growing and getting ready to lay.

Oly girls greatest temptation is water!!! I have to spray her with my hose or take her somewhere on puget sound for her to swim!!! She has nerve damage in her leg and I think it feels good to her. Also... She is always in the kiddy pool with the boys!!!! Love my dogs!!!

water is great for less painful exercise . was thinking of the Y for myself but i cant imagine wearing a suit.

I have been on steroids soo many yrs. 30 maybe . so when I first started them I was like Zena warrior princess , now, I would compare myself to humpty dumpty.

Thank you honey for the kind words. I'm sure you have a lot of those days yourself. I was a work horse, never thought anything would change for a long time to come, but unfortunately life has a way of smacking us in the face when we least expect it to. Some days are tougher than others, but so blessed by all of you holding me up on the days I am weak

This is exactly me! When I here people say stuff like this, I know they're experiencing the same thing. Hope we all get a break from our pains (mine is twist) tonight.

is that why you sold them ? the age ? bet them GL wyandottes are pretty. I have one a bantam.

drs. are hiding in fear of being sued . LOL they are so nice to me for some NEW reason. bringing me cold water asking what they can do for me while i wait. hahaa My dr. should call tomorrow about my hand . I am too young to have gout and Its a foot thing not a finger thing

That's my problem too. I had a above ground pool set up for like 4 summers until our electric bills hit $400 a month. Granddaughter loved it. We spent everyday in it, its been 2 summers since I stopped setting it up & I haven't swam since. I just can't get in a suit & go to the lake anymore ~ too self conscious. Really miss working out in the pool.
