Yeah my brother nearly freaked out when I almost let her outside.
For the right home, they're great! I love their independent nature. Love the drive to run. Folks get them cause they're pretty, put them in their little backyard 10 hrs a day by themselves, wonder why they cannot train them to be obedient and why they run off. They do "mushing" with 3 wheeled sleds here. The Huskies LOVE that. Great sport.
My aunt had a husky mix. He was the kindest dog i knew. But he had the tenancy to tug when i walked it though...
Your northern breeds tend to be independent and run off. Sight hounds are the same. Scent hounds have a doggy smell.
Yeah I thought my brother was just over worrying. I was wrong. He knew how they were before he got her. They are full of life and very friendly. It takes the right person to have them I agree.
Ditto that Newfie. So independent. Bucket list is a Borzoi.
Had a very tall friend who showed them.
Sorry guys but I need to go. I have work to do. Goodnight warm fuzzies.
Animal Control found the owner info, left a phone message AND posted their door. Dog lives about a mile away. She'll bunk here for the night. ****** at the owner. Never registered the chip, no collar. A # in magic marker on a collar or a registered chip would have had her home already.
