Can you get pine straw? That's what we mulch with. Sometimes I see bales advertised.

Hey Granny, would regular straw work? Like for straw bale gardening? Home Depot here was giving bales away they had used for a Halloween display. Maybe you could go around to the pumpkin patches and stores and offer to dispose of the bales?

if i was able i could go rake the cemetery . thats the only place i can think where there is a ton . I have a lot of pines but except for one they are 4-6 ft. tall.  Cats wouldnt want to mess in there huh? 

My cat goes in the sandy spots outside. I can't imagine a cat would like pine straw, though.

If it refuses to raise up not because of pain but it just wont go it could be dislocated  . look in the mirror naked, relax, is one higher then the other ? 

I have full range of motion when I'm not holding something. But putting dishes away, or carrying grocery sacks, or pushing up off the sofa are all really difficult.

I lost the hatchet quote, but you could do it with loppers. Or maybe get trimmings from someone who landscapes? I just chopped all the little sucker trees I could. I had MASSIVE blisters, too.

Probably why your shoulders are hurting honey.

I did the fence last winter. But I'm hoping to work on it again soon. Waiting for the snakes and hornets to go to sleep for the winter.

So you werent recently chopping with a hatchet then? Is it possible that the struggling & pull of Ben on a leash isn't irrating your shoulder muscles?

Well that would be the easy answer, but I did that fence last winter/spring. So that's not it. But I'm going to finish it soon.

Its OK for Pearl to do it cuz its both your home, but this worker should not be acting like she lives with the pigs & that granny's home is her home. Very, very poor manners.
