Darn that's too bad, you sure got a bunch of crud going on. I'm glad you have you birds for enjoyment. How come you have so many Roos though? Didn't you say the other night that you had about 15 roosters?

OMG a lady was feeding her cat with them. What was she doing hatching, then culling the roosters for her cats dinner?

This is my smaller roo, he is a Sicilian Buttercup and he wears the pants in my flock of ladies. He chases Ollie the Chantecler all over the place it's too funny because Ollie is 2X his size.

it would be hard for me to say which roo i like better. LOL the chicks were just a week or 2 when i got them and being bantam theres no way she could of known the sex. I dont think any one vent sexes the bantams. she just didnt want them. Takes all kinds you know. here where i live animals for the most part are not treated right. the amish will only keep what is useful to them. dogs are tossed out on the roads like they are nothing. full blooded too. the dog warden tells you if there is a stray to shoot it. Matter of fact i hadnt lived here long when i witnessed my neighbor shoot his dog. It came running to me and he came right after it on my property with his shotgun. I put the dog on my porch and my dumb butt stood between him and the dog. he said it ate one of his chickens, it "betrayed" him. I told him to leave it here then and he didnt . he took the dog off and i never seen it again. perfectly legal here.

2nd one just hatched and it was nasty. it was turned wrong but it pushed itself out anyway. came out back first. and there was a yellow goo in the shell and stuck to its head over the nose and a big glob laying on the brooder floor. its umbilical looks ok. and there might be a pip in the 3rd egg. hard to tell but i think so unless its a piece stuck to it from one of the others. the one with the goo was also the one that had a very big air sac.

#3 and the last one is piped on the wrong end. i see a little blood. If it is alive in the morning i will assist.
