No, just a little breezy. I live at the base of a curved high ridge in the coastal mountains. It has to really be blowing hard to affect us. Hope you get your canopy back together. I don't like the wind much. Always makes my ears hurt. And my hair frizzy. [IMG]

I had to look up optical rectitis. [IMG] If candy corn can cure it, I'd even eat a couple pieces (yuck). But just a couple. [IMG]

Been hoping granny would be back on and check in. Maybe she decided she likes cooking! [IMG] Hopefully, she got in a good nap. Nothing like a good nap to make you feel better.

Got to go again. Be back later.

Me too, if my regular depression isn't bad enough then fall comes around & throws me for a loop. Part of the reason I started into chickens was that my daughter had gotten married & moved with my gd 2 hours away. I went from taking care of her full time since she came home from the hospital to a weekend here & there. It put me in severe depression. Because of health problems I don't work outside of the home so when I no longer felt like I was needed I couldn't crawl out from under the depression. Fall was just around the corner & my SAD was kicking in too. That's when I came up with the idea of chickens. The rest is history, between my gardens, farm stand, canning & my birds they help keep my sanity lol. OK, now everyone knows my life history :lau

Same thing here CL. I can't get out in my garden like I used to. Chickens and ducks are very entertaining, I love watching them. I met all of you new friends on here because of the birds and I can't wait to see what you all have been up to. :)
