Anybody going to try it?
Wishing and Kathy, do you have wind? Geez O Pete! Blowing a gale here! My 12X20 shade canopy in the dog yard went flying! I'm parasailing trying to hang on to it while the wind is whipping, the top was coming apart...I was afraid to let go to go get tools!DH heard me hollering. Here he saunters, laughing. Jerk. It was pretty funny...![]()
Me too, if my regular depression isn't bad enough then fall comes around & throws me for a loop. Part of the reason I started into chickens was that my daughter had gotten married & moved with my gd 2 hours away. I went from taking care of her full time since she came home from the hospital to a weekend here & there. It put me in severe depression. Because of health problems I don't work outside of the home so when I no longer felt like I was needed I couldn't crawl out from under the depression. Fall was just around the corner & my SAD was kicking in too. That's when I came up with the idea of chickens. The rest is history, between my gardens, farm stand, canning & my birds they help keep my sanity lol. OK, now everyone knows my life historySeasonal affective disorder. When the daylight gets short, I get depressed.
X2Been hoping granny would be back on and check in. Maybe she decided she likes cooking!Hopefully, she got in a good nap. Nothing like a good nap to make you feel better.
Got to go again. Be back later.
Please add my sympathies as well. It really never does get easier.Kathy, sorry to hear about your cat, and York, about your dog. It never gets easier, does it?
Double hugs!![]()
