my sinus  has killed me the last two days.my heads plugged up and today my ear is hurting.i'm taking sinus meds doesn;t help much..but good news  my pullets  are 21 weeks old and today  my barred rock  thelma  laid her first egg  a beautiful brown one...

thank you lisa..it is always exciting to get the first egg..still waiting on the 3 ee's to see what color they lay.i think it will be awhile on them..combs are still the lite pink.

took a horse pill as migraine is trying to return.  Back in about 1/2 hour if it kicks in.   TTFN  

Aww sorry twist, feel better soon. I suffered for years with migraines, horrible things. Don't try to be on the computer, bad for headaches. You need a dark room, ice pack & sleep.

It's so frustrating. DH put the collar on him last night in the house "just to see" if it altered his behavior. Then he was saying "look how good he's being. He's such a different dog with this thing on. He's listening so much better." And I said "you think it's the collar an not the month of hard work I've put into training him?"

When he said the stuff about retrieving ducks I asked if he was going to actually hunt with Ben? "Maybe." Ok, then you train Ben and I'll go back to Jewel. "Jewel's my dog." Fine! Then I'll train Ben and dammed if I care whether he retrieves ducks or not.

I've been without my meds a few days, so the rage is running close to the surface. Plus DH and my mom are not getting along, and I'm just stuck in the middle. They're both too passive aggressive to do anything but talk crap about the other to me. I defend my DH, because my mom is nutso.

You worked HARD! IF he just put the collar on to let Ben wear it and see if he knew what it is, I'm ok. Bad thing is, if Ben did act differently with it on, he's e-collar wise. IF DH touched one button to see what happens, I'm out. Doesn't sound like he did.
My mother is the consummate master. My family are experts! Get unstuck? To save my sanity, I stood up. "I cannot and will not listen to this. I love you both. If you have an issue with XXX, I suggest you address it with them. I refuse to be involved". Magic!

Thnk you granny, that's 2 new layers in the past week & I have a couple girls practicing in the nest boxes. Now all I have to do is get thru the 14 day egg withdrawal & then hopefully I will have more laying by then.
