You do know Swedis Flower Hens are a landrace breed? This means they come in ALL colors. Google swedish glower hens pictures you will see what I mean!

you dont know how i dread going to bed now with them chickens in there. then the dogs are going to be all over them. I had them in my living room and my son couldnt take it. I bet they would of been fine where they were. 250 watt heat light. and now i wont have anyone to help me take them back out. supposed to have -25 wind chills thursday. -12 tonight .

That means that nobody has decided that they all have to be the same color. In Sweden they keep and breed the ones that lay the most eggs, grow the fastest, the best broodies, and they have to be hardy because Sweden is COLD. They are not picked because they are a certain color.

aint he pretty ? the hens look better then the pictures. they dont know me and wasnt thrilled to be in my hand. she was streching as far as she could to get back in the cage.  well, I just wimped out and brought a big divided cage in the house (my bedroom) and brought all the seramas in till this cold snap passes. -25 wind chills. .Hurt my arm dragging it of course and they stink. one left a big runny poop right on my kitchen floor . then as i got them in the room the roo crowed and i ****** my pants
