ya, I really thought that on all the way through.

Oh granny, you are going to make yourself so sick. I brooded 75 chicks in my basement that spring. I have allergies, I get shots monthly. What a nightmare, we had a horrible snowy cold spring, but I moved them out to a unheated garage at 4 weeks. I did provide a light for each cage & I covered the cages with flannel sheets at night. They were fine, thank goodness, but I never ever will brood in my basement again. That fine dust travels everywhere.

Mike has COPD so even chicks cannot stay in the house for more than 3 days.

I'm not very knowledgeable about breeds, but it looks mottled and it looks like a d' uccle. Is there a mottled d'uccle? I have a mille fleur d'ccle pair.

I am a little confused about the rooster. One day day he is rattling , eye swelled shut, hanging head. next day not a thing in the world wrong with him. no swelling, rattle , nothing then right back to it. I continued the tylan. the best i seen him was the day after i tubed him but he is still eating. he is also fussing at me more and that is every day. just complaining when i pick him up. I would think he is sore. 

Granny aren't you only supose to give those a Tylan shots for three days? Because it eats away at the muscle. I bet he is sore. I wish he would just get better already.
Love the brooder! Very nice. But not in the bedroom lol I hope someone will help you haul it back out. Your new little chickens are just adorable!

I have 3 of her chicks I hatched? The roo is a serama...sooo I was trying to find out what she is??

5 days i think suzierd, has it been 5 days? I dont think i have gave him but 4 shots. tube fed him once and i have gave him a tiny amount of the tylan powder in the water. it is gone now. I know you can give shots twice a day but he has no muscle. little in the thigh got him there and under the skin some. once in the breast. Rooster let me sleep til 5:30 wasnt that nice of him? I also have copd enola, I really dont know what i was thinking but since they are here tomorrow is supposed to be the worst night , might as well wait til the next day. I feel awful for bringing them in but probably just worried all night and not slept if i hadnt. my bedroom is the master bedroom and its about 24x24 then i have a humongous bathroom with a walk in shower and a garden tub then there is a walk through closet. it is a beautiful room, I just redone it paint decorations ect.. seafoam and teal colors and now i have chickens in there.

hard to believe but the serama eggs that were shipped to me from MT. and stayed at the po extra day, 3 , are doing something. not sure what but there is changes, day 3 last night when i looked. didnt touch

the eggs i have in lockdown havent done anything and that is odd, last time, same eggs hatched day 19. this is 20 and no pip, looks like no advancement. one i thought i could hear but very soft. candle shows it to have large air sac so it probably has done internal pip but not the others. that was yesterday.
