I told her to get a thermometer and put her lamp above the brooder, make sure they have a cool place to hide if needed, etc. The others were talking her to leave the chicks in the bator for three days. :barnie and then using the power of the multitude to shut me out when I disagreed. Ugh. Bunch of dummies.

I hatched 100s of chicks this year and never lost any til I moved them to the outside brooder, and I think that was because the possum literally scared them to death. I would find one crushed every few days, I assume as they all tried to get away. They didn't know they were safe.
 
im back .. I am not understanding camping. you think they got too cold or too hot ? If it was a fridge lightbulb they dont throw much heat . did she show the bulb ? wondering if its one of the new led bulbs. could of been a million thing . the shavings could be ceder.
There is no cure for CRD . they can get better, sick again. Im not 100% they get bubbles with pox. might of had a couple things going on what about Kathys new post ??
 
Come on Twist, enough work for one day.. Lets get this party started. Did granny ever get lucky ? I need to know how this story ends. LOL
 
Just think you guys , If the Indians had gave the pilgrims a donkey instead of a turkey we would all be having a piece of @ss for thanksgiving .
