- *that* about sums up my day --- and it didn't get any better once I got home. Guess who has a water leak.......seems the plumbing to the shower in the master bath is leaking, came home to DH with the entire wall ripped off (it's a mobile/modular home, so that's not really a big deal, lol) as that was the only way to get to it. Looks like it's been leaking for a bit. Looks like DH is taking tomorrow of to play plumber...........

I bought the first one from him. $6. I got these just down the road for $5.

For what you are using it for definitely worth getting it as cheap as you can - haven't had to buy his squares for a while now, we get the rounds so wasn't sure what he was charging these days.

LOL - so true.  I was told once, many years back, that I should try my hand at that craft, by a friend who worked the same day-job I did  - but I have NO dancing ability and even though at the time I had the body for it would not have been able to actually do it.  These days I think I could probably do reverse stripping - take off all my clothes and get people to give me money to put things back on

he told me to buy the wheat straw because the hollow makes better insulation. makes sense but the stuff i got today went 3-4xs father .

I know plenty of folks worry about the straw creating a habitat for mites, but have never had that be an issue when I've used straw.

Appreciate the sentiment, but have to point out that most of the photos you have probably seen (ie facebook) are carefully selected and almost all from better years, lol.
