    Ok .just brought the other egg in. She tried to eat it. Got it under the heat lamp with a damp sock our it. Beaks picking out near the bottom of the egg. Should I place beak down up, or what?

    any blood ? have your thermometer ? dont cook it . less then 99 is idea now.

    No thermometer. I'm having to wing it. No blood. Its chirping at me. Oh I hope I can save it

    Oh, that's too bad. Can Pearl get a thermometer on her way home from work/school? It will be hard to do this without one.

    Since the wet sock is open to the air, as the water evaporates, it will cool the egg a bit, so keep it warm!
