I'm trying to think about what to do at my mom's house this weekend so I'm not staring at my phone the whole time. We don't really get along so it helps to have a project.

Is bringing my sewing machine way too obvious? I could work on nest curtains or Christmas presents. I was thinking about a crochet project or two. Maybe embroidery? I'm definitely bringing my coloring book.

Pot brownies always takes the tension out of a room !!!!!LOL

so, No one cooks ? money mama ?  Thats what is missing, bring something for the two of you to make like banana pudding .  Making sure you bring all the stuff that goes in then say ha mom, come show me how to make this mess.

She's not really that type of mom. She doesn't have money, but she likes to throw money at situations so she's always broke. But I guess once you buy all the stuff for thanksgiving, that catering might bring you out about the same.
