grannys gone and done it

My friend had some Toulouse geese. They were noisy, but not mean.


Granny had to go into town again to pick up another prescription or something. She is supposed to be resting! The muscle relaxer is knocking her out. Said she slept 10 hours last night. She's still having some pain, too.

I thought about offering to go down there a tie her to the bed until she healed but thought that might just get her excited.

I don't mind goose to eat but it's a bit greasy for me. I find it does not make good sandwiches when cold either but not a bad bird.
Glad granny is sleeping some, she needs it!! Instead of running round after everyone all the time.

Sounds like what I've been doing for the last couple of days.  Laundry, garage, and chicken coops.  Today was grocery shopping.  Tomorrow will be cooking for the big feast.  I only have to do minor cooking, though.  My brother is doing the lion's share. 

I pop to the store for groceries 2-3 times a week then we don't waste stuff. Get a fridge full and a lot gets a wasted so only get what we are going to eat. I like minor cooking!! We don't have thanksgiving here but having 10 for Christmas. Thank goodness the other half Scott likes cooking!!
