I usually do the same with frequent small trips to get groceries. Lately, I've been trying to clear the fridge, so no new stuff until we ate up all the food in there. I am cooking things to take to my brother's and also to take to my MILs on Saturday. Two Turkey Days for us!

NO fruit of any kind. Giblet and herb stuffing. I have never had a problem with a dry bird. And the dressing for the extra that I make and freeze. Then when ever pop a chicken in the oven and pull the dressing out of the freezer. grab a veg and dinner done.
