(sigh) thats 2 i have run off with my dear abby column today. whos next ? tell granny your problems and I will make mine so terrible you will be glad you have your own.

is this where we are supposed to step in and make them or let it go ?  Im not sure about you, I can only guess but what I am looking for is some appreciation. that they loved growing up with me. the traditions are just a way of them saying hey, this is how mom did it and it felt right so I want to do it too.  Something like that Danna ?

The first year that my grandma was too tired to decorate, baby bro and I went and cut a tree with a hacksaw. It was awful! We cut branches and duct taped them back into place. :lau But every year after that we showed up early to decorate the tree. Now we go to my aunt's. No gifts, but a big meal and then dad reads the Christmas story from the Bible and then serves communion. It's nice. Then we (the big kids and spouses) play games for cash or gift cards. Jenga gets WAY MORE intense with cash on the line.

DS had me call the company today and tell his worker to not come today. I do hope he is getting ready to fire her. I sat him down and told him how I felt about her and about her lying on him and GS. everyone else told him they dont like her as well so he is thinking on letting her go.
