Probably not, I gave up about a thousand some posts ago so I could catch up to current times around Thanksgiving. Maybe sometime in the future tho. Lol.
Welcome to the fray!!!! Glad to see you're a hen - was just thinking we were getting a bit out of balance on the roo/hen ratio for a good, balanced flock here........

whip it out Twist. then take a picture ok ?
Well then...........

Hi Mare, I'm a 2x a day feeder for my birds also. They have full access to feed at any time in the coops, but I feed them fermented feed in the morning & a hour before they go to roost. As it gets colder, I'm sure it will help them stay warmer thru the night.

I free feed the birds, not up to the fermented stuff just yet and trying to work feed times around daylight hours and work schedule just wouldn't work out for me right now- but everyone else (cats/dogs/fish) are 2x a day meals. The horse depends - if I have a round bale out she free feeds but right now we're on squares (the forklift was dead when I stopped to pick up hay on Monday) so she's getting hay tossed over a few times a day and gets grain in the evening now that the winter weather is here.
