Christmas camp starts today! It was always my favorite camp, until DH started letting other people contribute. Now I pretty much just cook, no programming at all.


But it's a really neat camp. We focus on Christmas stories and traditions. Tomorrow night I'll roast a big turkey for a big Christmas feast, and the kids will drink hot chocolate and watch a Christmas movie. They sing carols and make ornaments and cards. My favorite is when they come into my big warm kitchen and we roll and cut sugar cookies.

that sounds like tons of fun but dont understand completely .  "camp" you have a lot of people come or ?

We do! It's for junior/senior high kids. They do other "camp" activities like ropes course, archery, rock wall, etc. They pay to be here, I don't remember how much. We bring in summer staff persons to help with the activities and stay in the cabins at night.

Not first day, unfortunately. She LOVES to hear herself talk! The more she talks the more important she feels! Ya'll know someone like this. She is now stupidvising someone I trained and he is about to shoot himself! He ducks into my office and puts his finger to his head. Bang!

We have to pick older men, it takes them longer to grow up than us

I was making banana chocolate chip cookies.

Yummy....iI have an applesauce chocolate chip recipe that ends up looking very similar and so moist/soft
