sorry was busy removing burrs from Yuri. He just gets coated in them and funny thing is Beth goes with Yuri and she almost never has any. I think the liver and white have a different type of coat , all my black and white can be covered in mud and what not 3 hours latter they are clean as a whistle

Yeah the boiled okra I don't like. Fried on the other hand is a different story.

Limas are used green or dried. The little ones are limas, the big ones are butterbeans, the tiny ones are baby limas. I love them.

Succotash is made from fresh baby limas, corn, butter and salt. Maybe a little pepper. Really love this.

I made soup from limas, potato, onion, carrot, S&P, garlic powder, thyme, oregano & parsley. I canned it. I made some with northern beans too.

Add a handful to any soup you're eating or put just butter and S&P on them as a side veggie.

I used to make 4 gallons of it every fall for the dog show luncheon.
