one of my guineas didnt come home tonight, sitting eggs i hope but since they have been in the coop for the past 2 days because of the rain its doubtful. how do i notice one guinea missing out of 100+ fowl and cant remember if i took my meds.?

2 chicks and at least 1 pip in less then 24 in the bator, now thats what i call fast work ! one is a blue silkie again

im on a roller coaster. 4 hatched so far, went to go feed and found 2 dead in the coop. a buff silkie ans a white? they were adolescents. one baby with prolapse. so i guess im one up for now. i was standing looking at all the pretty colors, the blues, greens, grays and purple and the textures like soft velvet and i wondered, how long HAS that lunch meat been in the fridge?

2 more gone this morn. in the barn this time and its the rare white sumatra i got when my mom was in the hospital so about a month of age. i think its this crazy weather. got 30s last night. at least thats what i heard last night. prolapse hanging on but if no improvement i will cull tomorrow.

their dropping like flys, the one with prolapse i culled and then found an easter egger dead in the coop, just since this morning. i got her when the chicks first came out in spring? so 2 months or so. fully feathered. no signs or symptoms have the ones in the barn on antibiotics, makes no difference. sulfa something.
