Morning York ! I am fine. I just aint messing with no more trees. I know when to lay down . I sleep like that a lot.

Yeah not bad, I'm off to do Harry horse as soon as its light this morning. Me and a friend who keeps her horses there too do them on a rota so we are both not going down there 3 times a day!! Soon clocks the mileage up if you have to. Plus she lives in the same village as the farm.

Clipped Harry yesterday so he's looking all sleek and shiny again now the the winter coat is off. Boy he was a hairy woolly monster before!!

Charlie finished school last Friday for the holidays so he's at home. The other half is taking it easy trying to get better, most of our business clients have finished for Christmas too so the business is quiet! Phew!

They are going to hit a few clays this morning then Charlie going with a friend to see the news Star Wars at the cinema.

Wether bit wet and windy again so I'm going to have a go at getting this house clean

Best friend in detroit . she was hispanic and wanted me to go clubbing with her. had to dress nice where she went and If you wanted to drink you took your own. I was decked out. red tight fitting dress split up the side. heel, panty hose the works. I have never been so miserable in my life. I was the only white woman there and they wanted to dance. The only thing was, my friend didnt inform me the dancing was a bit different then what I was used to. LOL side by side and going in circles as a group . well, the shoes left first leaving me a couple inches shorter then the hair came down. It was dark and warm in there so I slipped my panty hose off under the table. Up to dance and my friend is waiting when I come back holding them . Did you lose something she asks ? holding them in the air. any way I had a pretty good time . we were on our way home and I just couldnt take no more. so off came the bra and i slung it out the window. then and this is the funny part, we were passing Del Ray. a part of detroit that has a paper factory. it stinks . pay back time. Yup, took em off and dropped them right in my friends lap ! hahaaaa I earned a nick name that night ...

The bantam coop is small.  Not deep litter, but rice hulls which the mites don't like. The coop was sprayed a few months ago with flea spray for dog bedding, so I think cleaning the nest boxes will suffice.  Northern fowl mites can only live on the birds, so you have to treat the birds.  Lady at a Serama show told me to use a drop of Frontline (for cats, some people say dogs) on a patch of bare skin.  Works like a charm.  We toss the eggs for a while. Stupid Frontline doesn't kill fleas anymore, but the mites die.  It's risky, but we don't eat these birds, and they are so small, mites can wipe them out pretty quick.  Nothing else I tried did any good. 

I used Sevin dust on my birds and the deep litter and in the nest last year when mine had black mites in the nests. Worked quick and i didn t lose any eggs.

Don't know what came over me yesterday and all the sleeping. I think it's because I had clipped Harry and because I was covered in hair I jumped straight in the shower when i got home. Was not going any where else so I put PJ'S on!! Body must have thought ooh.. Sleep time!
