below my knee on the outside of my leg I have a garnet stone surrounded by 6 smaller stones all connected by flower stems and leafs. It is my father , my 5 sisters and myself. birth stones turned to flowers. I was planning to add my mom but SIL refuses because of my health. plus that hurts !
I have a tatoo story.......
When I was working in WV, there was a deli in the store. They hired a girl that had a snake tatoo. It was a snake that 'crawled' out of her blouse, around her neck and the head was on her cheek. Sales in the deli hit rock bottom the days that she worked. One morning during the morning 'business' meeting the store manager mentioned that sales in the deli department were really dropping, did anyone have any suggestions on how to increase sales?? A voice in the back of the room said that if the 'snake' in the deli was removed, people would mind shopping again.
They transferred her to night shift....... Sales in the deli went back to normal.......
I really shouldn't be so negative about tattooes...... It really is a very personal choice for everyone.
Me either especially if they can be covered should the need arise.
good morning all!! Beth spent her first night with me and the adults in my bed. Took her for ever to settle down but then was pretty good thru the night. Started this morning by going on a puppy pile hunt no pile this is a good thing. Beth can't get up on the bed by herself so my night was not an un-interrupted sleep. Coffee is not helping yet. BYC seems to be behaving itself at the moment. Yea!!
Speaking of tats does anyone remember the Bob Newhart show with susan plechette and then his secretary?? There were a couple spisode about her tat and the removal of it. started as a little butterfly then she gain a huge amount of weight and was the size of a killer moth then lost the weight and it turned into a "saggy naggie" it was heristical.
That is the kind of tat I have no issue with tastefull and not in your face. Those are the ones I object to.
Maybe you should get your adrenial glands and thyroid checks out??? HUMMMMMMMMMM just saying better then passing out in the chicken run in a divit full of chicken doo's and don'ts
Well now you don't have to hide. As what I consider a conservative Christian, I've learned not to let it get between you and me. I worked with a guy pierced and tattooed and we got along fine.
I've learned you won't always agree with what folks do or say but as long as it's not illegal it's their prerogative. I don't drink but some folks do. I don't have to hang with them when they do, but we can still have a meaningful association if we keep it peaceful. I don't agree with pot and I won't go where there is pot, but as long as we keep it peaceful, such is life. I'm not a vegetarian but I have friends who are and we keep it peaceful. You get the idea.
Now if I see you hurt your dog, your wife , your kids or whatever. Then we'll have a problem. Be nice or be gone.
We all want respect.

My tattoo is on my back, between my shoulders. Can't see it with most t-shirts, and that's on purpose. Every now and then it peeks out in opportune times, like at church.
It's a bird in flight, but like ink splatters. About as big as a grapefruit. It's a fun little secret.
