Interesting! Says they can fly over high fences though...I'm less than 2 hrs from LA if you need me to fetch something for you. There's a lady on the LA thread with blue croad langshans. They're GORGEOUS so I'm looking at them now. There's a neat little write up on them at the livestock conservancy.

birdman55 Don't quote me for sure. He had some kind of trouble, not certain what it was. I just know he got rid of lots of birds & that he is not very happy with where he was farming.Wow that was a long quote. He is a local guy here in Michigan. He had a ginomous highend bird farm. Something happened (township stuff I think), he had to downsize tremendously. Really nice, hard working guy that got the raw end of the deal. I think he originally came from Wisconsin
I did a read back lol
awww what a bummer dang townships! I would love to see if he has any eggs then!
Kinda really close so I have people to ride with. Need a house and fencing already in place.Do you wan't to live next door to horse people or just within a few miles? Again there are no rules in the county. You can't get a building permit because there is no government agency to give you one!
I can't get the picture to blow up. I'll take your word for it. Have you ever had them get out & end up on your front lawn?Look in front of the green feeder. It's 4by4 cattle mesh.Where is the fencing? This is across the street from me.
Quote: House and fencing may take you a little bit. Seriously, If you have a 60x100 ft lot or any size in the county you could keep 150 chickens, 50 dogs and 4 giraffes on it!

I don't worry about them a bit. Nor do I worry about the camels, buffalo or zebras.
