Camping, Do you love your new chickens ? Are they friendly ? The roo has a white earlob ??

They're pretty wild right now. A very flighty breed. I do love them! The roos earlobe troubled me in the pics, but I think it was reflecting light? Doesn't look like that in person.

The hen is very submissive. I guess the pullets had all been terrorized by the group of young roos. He's tried to breed her a few times, but he also sang and brought her bits of hay, and he lays right next to her. So I'm hoping she'll be ok with just the two of them.

I'm calling them Ragnar Lothbrook and Lagertha, from the show Vikings.
