I've had so many epidurals I've lost count. Don't help.

Did the surgeons have an explanation why it didn't help you?  Can you get a second opinion?  Would it have gotten worse anyway without the surgery, and maybe it's not as bad as it might have been.  Seems terrible that you live with so much pain.  Maybe a good experienced surgeon can help and reassure you.  Of course all this is coming from a person who never goes to the doctor! 

I've gotten a second opinion and they said that the ones that did surgery had already given me way to many epidurals. They also said that fission is my last resort but they don't really know if it would help. I'm scared to go through another surgery that's more complicated then the one I've already had. Especially since it only made things worse.
