Soo, who can we talk into trying this ? LOL I am very tired and in pain as normal. I just spent 8 hrs. at the ER with my daughter. She is ok, she got dilauded . all i got was a sore foot from sneaking out to smoke. I have to go back and read to remember what was said today. I suffer from CRS you know.

I don't know who we could get to "blow" on a ckicken. I was telling Mike about how that kid said to sex a chicken. He said "I thought you said that is a family site? They are going to throw the whole bunch of you off!".

I told him we would be good. . .

well, Im sure its not the first time you storied him. hahaaa Twisted, celery in the broth and no worries, your already paying my DR. bills.

Morning all, Long night. My daughter has just fell asleep at 5 am. I feel very bad for her. her legs kept jerking all night. I put her in the bed with me so i could keep an eye on her. LOL Been a few since that happened. I have learned some very important things about her . She has a humongous heart , she is truly sick and she is an addict. She was not in a flair she was/is going through withdrawals. The drs. in NC. had her on some strong pain pills and a patch that drs. here cant even prescribe. It needs a special dr. to write them. Mind you, all the drs. agree she needs these meds. she just doesnt have the money to have them filled. She acts normal when she has them and is very pitiful when she dont. I am heart broken at the pain she goes through and nothing mama can do. she wants to stop them and when she dont have any she is in the bathroom all day. Her crones is very severe. she had 13 inches removed of her small intestines the first surgery and we dont know how much the second time. Drs say if she dont get on something she will have a very short life. Hopefully soon she will have insurance . Too much info ? Look around, we are losing our children left and right to drugs. The "pain clinics" are the worst offenders for getting them hooked. I am trying to do my part by bringing awareness to you. Keep your kids away from those places. They are our future. we are but borrowing this earth from them.

Oh, Granny :-(
Is there not any option that can act as an emergency stop-gap while she is uninsured? Is she in the process of getting it and it just hasn't gone through yet? As odd as it sounds, this actually might not be a bad time to be dealing with this particular situation - given the addiction aspect. With all that is going on in Scott County I think the various programs and the state itself are in a mindset to be more responsive to situations and want to provide the sorts of services that might be helpful to your daughter - I know that you aren't dealing with exactly the issues that are causing that situation there, but the response from the state and the medical community has been such that it might be a way to gain some assistance that may not have been available two or three months ago before emergency measures were being put in place.
Is she only working with the ER doctors at this point due to the insurance situation?

morning ol mare, yes she is waiting and only er doctors willing to see her. even when she had the cash money to pay for a visit no one would see her. There is a clinic in NV. that is based on income and she has an appt. monday i believe. but that wont help much unless she has money for the meds. she dont. All she has right now is tramadol for pain and prednisone for crones. I know she dont even have the gas to get to the drs. food is gone. Its a mess. she is more then likely got a job . they said just the background check left but no way she is able to work . she has already missed her rent. she has been feeding the children from food banks , churches and mama. her husband has done a few tattoos and that has gone to gas tank (full sized old van) bread milk ect..It shouldnt be much longer. just need to hang in there . On a different note. the man that wants to by my chickens , wants me to bring them. thats a little trip across the river for 24 dollars. Told him i would let him know.

Has she applied for Medicaid? The kids would definitely qualify for WIC. There's no shame in it; that's what it's there for. I had Medicaid for both of my pregnancies, because we couldn't afford maternity coverage. It covered all doctor visits, lab work, and c-sections and then shots and formula for the babies for a year. They can use it to get on their feet, if nothing more.

Try getting in touch with Dr. Cook (Cooke?) - I know he has an office open in Austin, but I think he has an office in Madison. I have heard nothing but good things about him and working with folks, etc.
RE: the chickens - yeah, that would be a bit of a trip - of course you could always meet up at the upcoming swap at TSC (unless one or both of you isn't going)
