Exactly. I'm trading six hens and a rooster for a 45-chick brooder with lift-up lids, slide-out poop boards, up on legs, and fully wired. It can't get here soon enough! I need that bathroom back before all my weekend kids (college-aged summer staff) get here in a few weeks. Once they get outside, I think he'll forget how many there are.

The four white layer (amber links? Not sure) and my two orpingtons. I'm sad to see them go, so I'm trying to collect their eggs for hatching. And the roo was one of the 11 that I was selling for a friend, but it escaped. I'm really just throwing it in.

I've already hatched some chicks off the white hens, and I'm hoping they'll be more thrifty on feed than their mothers. I'm going through 50 lbs a week on 15 chickens. So I'm trading off the six worst offenders.

No critters. I have a giant auto feeder, but I only put two gallons in at a time. It lasts about a day and a half. I open the coop in the morning and they range around the house until they roost in the evening. I give them scratch and scraps. Those white hens just never stop eating. And it must go to eggs, because they aren't even a little plump.

Gosh, I just realized maybe they're wormy? Could that explain it?

yes, defiantly give them a good worming. dont eat the eggs but you can still hatch them.

Hi guys, I've been quiet for awhile. I had a Hard day am in need of hugs. To start off, one of my rabbits have been starting to fall over and can't get back up on it's own. Nothing serious though. My cat is sick and throwing up everywere.

Of course, I'm the only one who can do anything and therefore have to clean it up. I wish somone will tell me before I Step in it though.

But all that aside, I have to delay chickens for little bit for my household to get its s*** together. I am planing to go to NY again in June so full speed ahead!

sorry watermellon computer is still acting up, I deal with the cat puck too. my son has learned to throw the cat from his room when it starts to get sick so he dont have to deal with it. I found some treats for hair balls that seems to help. My GS found 2 chicks today. one was almost dead. froze. he saved it. very proud of himself. LOL I on the other hand got into a humongous fight with my husband today and i left for a while. its probably like the 2nd or 3rd fight we have ever had. very painful.

My mom will soon be gone a yr. sure dont seem like it. I miss her bad. the cemetery still has not put her date of death up. If i knew how i would do it myself.

Hi all have been checking in on a regular basis just nothing much to say also get tired of fighting the video adds to type at a normal speed. Your gs is learning chicken math early lose one granny offers replacement then find another

I sometime wonder if chicken math is related to "hoarding". been busy cleaning carpets, painting rooms, tiling tub surrounds. Had 2 rooms bug-out late sat night or early sunday morning. 1 of them got mail today wrote on it "Thief no longer lives here " and sent it back. Got 3rd bill for a renter who passed away last Nov. From the hospital put on it "what part of dead do you not understand???" Also had 3 locks re-keyed. Brooder room up to low 90's ready for the chicks on the first. Hope they send all I ordered.

Glad to see yr doing ok twist. chicken math, hahaaa ya, wasnt thinking about it. he got 2 for the price of one. and i looked them up. they are the egyptions. LOL so i am back to a pr. as i just sold mama and daddy. He didnt want me to , he liked them and he doesnt know yet what these are. I just didnt want the rooster and they were very bonded. I got to see them the other day. they looked good. in a big cage. 4x8 by themselves . very hungry for grass though. they had food and water. I hope the 2 babies are both hens as they are siblings . roosters i am not keeping. but who knows, when i bought mama and daddy they could of been brother and sister as well. they were smart though. I just wont do it if i know they are related. some people dont think twice about it. I feel it is wrong. anyway, good morning everyone. hope all has a better day today then i had yesterday.
