Not too sure every one else knew though. hahaa You are the only man i know that i can flirt with and get by with it. I am married but i am not dead. Just a bored housewife. LOL you know the kind. and you my friend are a fun, safe, god fearing person that i can tease and get back 2 fold. So, I miss you. get that computer fixed.

Ol mare, thank you. I am sorry i made you cry. know that i was crying along with you for the same reason. tears of joy . I paid the rest of my bills and i have 100 dollars left for the month unless i still have to pay the balance which is 25 dollars. I was so sick when i was there i didnt catch too much. something about a new app. in a yr ? do they do this once a yr. or ?
Camping, is it the EE ? dark legs, my EE was white and tan , But i am wondering if the cream legbar was the daddy, and her the mama ? that would of been something i would be hoping for. could of been her egg. and he was with them at the time. It has that fluff around the head. OHH, I hope so !

The program runs every year - winter program runs Nov-May and then summer program (if/when it's funded) runs June-Aug. Each one offers a one-time payment to the bills that qualify (for you electric) The summer program usually averages 50-150 towards the electric bill - plus possible crisis/emergency funds for homeowners if there's funds in that at the time. Last I heard they are doing a summer program this year and it will be done as a "flush" meaning everyone on the winter program will automatically be processed for the summer credit - if I hear different between now and then I'll let you know. You only have to apply once (winter) to get the winter and summer for that "year" (just knowing the year isn't a calendar year - it's basically a fiscal year so Oct-Sept). *I* would call SIEOC when you feel more up to it and ask them about a mail-in application -- with an elderly/disabled household you should be eligible to have the app mailed to you, you fill it out and send in the proof of income, bill, etc it asks for and don't even have to mess around with going in (you can still make an appointment if you'd rather be seen in person) - - we have it set up to automatically add a HH to the mail out list when we put in that they are E/D but each agency does things differently so you'll do best to get that info directly from them as to how to go about that. One advantage is that the state encourages agencies to start that mail-in process early so we, for example, usually send our apps out in August for that winter and you are really processed before the program even officially starts (benefits are paid and your approval letter would be paid after the program start date).

On the last $25 - call Peter at the REMC to verify but generally they won't shut it off over that amount and/or if you were not in a disconnect in the first place.

Well, I know your EE laid light eggs, and didn't you get rid of her recently? I'll try to look back if I can get some time today. Maybe someone else remembers?

I took pics of the outside babies today. This chick is so photogenic!! She's my favorite. :love

It's a mixed, roo is speckled sussex and not sure which hen it came from. Not sussex, though. Probably one of my white layers.

Good morning! No better way to start the day than at the dentist office - especially when you suffer severe anxiety about the dentist (like, chest tightening, heart racing just thinking about going to the dentist anxiety - actually sitting in the chair you're lucky if you don't have a meltdown anxiety). Even better - I get to do it all over again tomorrow. Apparently today was just "make me sit there for two hours so you can look at it and say, ' Yeah, that needs to be fixed - come back tomorrow and we'll do it' "
he.gif
It's my own **** fault, I don't want to go to the dentist, so I don't - I knew there were problems brewing but ignored it until it just can't be ignored anymore - but I don't want to go!!!!

Oh a brighter note - DS and I should be headed to KY Saturday to pick up something I thought I'd never own, one of those little pre-fab coop setups. Found one on Craigslist that was just too good to pass up - figure it will make for a great transition house for the littles that are currently in my bathtub so I can get them up and out of the house now and let get a little bigger before I throw them to the wolves, er flock. Oh, those babies - started with 6, lost one and I am in serious denial about one of the Welsummers as "she" is sure feathering in like a "he" - so, started with six and will end up with 4

Fought the urge to replace the one we lost so far, but my resolve is weakening. Figure I can move these guys to the new coop and put six more in the bathtub , maybe DH won't notice, lol......swaps all over the place May 2, can get rid of the little cockerel and any extras DH puts his foot down about - or maybe a couple of my big girls and just keep all the babies. He better hope they aren't trying to clearance the chicks the day I go in, 6 can turn into 20 real fast when they are selling them cheap, lol.

It's the perfect brooder

DH doesn't get too cranky until/unless the chicks have a particularly restless, noisy night and this batch are particularly rambunctious so there's been some grumbling. He can't mind too much, he built a fabulous cover for it last time around and when I mentioned thinking about putting them in a stock tub in the empty bedroom (since DD moved away to college last fall) he was offended because he "went to all the work on that cover for the garden tub", so it was really his idea that they went in there this year, right????

Exactly. I'm trading six hens and a rooster for a 45-chick brooder with lift-up lids, slide-out poop boards, up on legs, and fully wired. It can't get here soon enough! I need that bathroom back before all my weekend kids (college-aged summer staff) get here in a few weeks. Once they get outside, I think he'll forget how many there are. :D

thank you both for the info. ol mare, they did say something about mail in app. so once and maybe 2 times a yr. I told them i had most the money to pay it but no food in the house. they seemed to understand. my husband wanted to drive all the back over there for the weatherization app. LOL he wants 4 more donuts !!! Camping you are right, I sold the ee and a polish and it has to be the ee. so i will get colored eggs after all ! well, if its a hen. It s bigger then the seramas at 2 weeks old . all ready wing feathers in a day. (girl) Great memory ! thank you.
