Lol we'll see. I would feel better about things if I ever get my disability. It would still drive me crazy not being able to work but at least I could contribute. I'm not saying it's not hard on a woman in this shape because we both know that it is. It just makes me feel less of a man. But I will get over it. I guess. I know my grandfather and dad never got over it. I could tell. I'll make it though.
It's so much harder for a man Red, but I really wish you'd be happy with what you have and quit beating yourself.

he kept most of the neck and the heads. We got the hearts and livers, wasn;t enough fat to mess with for lard but I have plenty already canned. He also cuts the pigs down their spine and skins them

so the ribs are cut ? who kept the heads ? isnt that barbacoa ? he will resell that to the hispanic if you are talking about the butcher. They sold in Mi. pretty expensive .

Right Red, but he's 83 and is having surgery. What he means is he's not comfortable having me wash him and cook for him and feed him and bath him. That he considers a burden. so farking what you have a wheelchair. Most of my best most active friends are in chairs. 24/7! So what. They live life and are active! They get my sorry but outta the house! You might try to get a chair you can use without being pushed if it'd make you feel better. You've probably got about 40 or so years left to live. Wanna make the best of it?
wish I could afford a chair like that.

DITTO DAT! :smack
lol that's just the way it is around here. Sorry. Not meaning it to be offensive in any way. There's to many supposed to be men around this day in time that don't try to take care of there woman. You may have a different outlook if you lived in Rockingham.

Twist, what were you talking about this am about hasty and words to live by. hint hint. Lily ?
