The speckled sussex are laying really good right now, so I may wait for another 10 eggs or so. Some people have had trouble hatching my eggs, so I'm going to experiment with temps/humidity, see if I can figure it out. 
Y'all know I love the pics, so here's two from tonight. I went out to get eggs and lock up the coop, because we were gone all day. 
World's youngest broody? 
 
 
I went to put it back in the broody box, dropped it, chased it all over the yard, then opened the box. Two chicks, no broody. So I put in the third. Should have been four. I looked around the coop floor, then it peeped at me. 
I can't figure out how it got up there. But it looks so cute and proud, haha. Neither of those hens are the broody. 
I knew I liked those little chicks. So sweet. They're from my white layers. I think I'll hatch a few more.
