triple antibiotic ointment you buy for yourself. they also make it with pain reliever in it. DONT use that kind. its toxic. find it with the bandaids. cant you make her eat/drink it ? break a piece off the size of a small aspirin and just drop it in and watch her swallow. she might be in shock. keep her extra warm

Oh Neosporin, should I put that in instead of PH or mix them together?

Luke 22:36
Then said He unto them,
“But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it
and likewise his pack; and he that hath no sword,
let him sell his garment and buy one."

Mrs. B ,
can you translate please ?

I'm happy you asked. :)

There is some debate whether Christ was speaking metaphorically or literally to his disciples when he said this.

Metaphorically, Christ is saying that the time in which you will need to provide for yourself is coming (the Tribulation). Disciples should basically batten down the hatches spiritually and use their spiritual "sword" (the Creator) to combat Satan and the sin and corruption in the world..

Literally, Christ is saying that after he departs this world, disciples will be accepted, even by friends, with hostility in the end days (this is also spoken of elsewhere in Scripture when it describes houses divided and families turned against each other). A sword would be a necessary item for self-defense.

Selling your garment (an indispensable item at any time) for a sword serves to emphasize the importance of being prepared with the Word and whatever tools you need for survival. It could also mean getting rid of your pride in exchange for the "sword" of the Creator.

Either way, the Scripture tells us to be prepared at all times, for he will come like a thief in the night.

I understand Mrs.B thank you. In my own mind i will option A because the thought of running naked down the street with a sword in my hand is more then my poor mind can fathom.

I'm here! I'm here! Sorry to have been gone. Last round of storms knocked out power, almost two days. Glad I didn't start up the bator like I was planning to do on Sunday.

Busy tonight catching up on washing and cleaning. Should be getting my brooder from a fellow BYCer around 2 am. :fl Those tub babies are making a HUGE mess and I need them OUT.

Sorry for those having hard times. I was supposed to meet a lady today to give her clothes and toys for a neighbor. But the house was dirty, I was two days without coffee, and the kids were driving me up the wall, so we packed up and left the house. I was in the middle of TSC in the wrong direction when I remembered. The lady was nice about it, though. We'll try again later. Was supposed to meet yesterday, but the weather was too bad.

glad your ok camping ! 2 days with no coffee ? it a wonder you remember to dress. hahaaa not sure i could handle that situation. sure wouldnt remember any meetings. so will you start your bator now ?

The speckled sussex are laying really good right now, so I may wait for another 10 eggs or so. Some people have had trouble hatching my eggs, so I'm going to experiment with temps/humidity, see if I can figure it out.

Y'all know I love the pics, so here's two from tonight. I went out to get eggs and lock up the coop, because we were gone all day.

World's youngest broody? :love

I went to put it back in the broody box, dropped it, chased it all over the yard, then opened the box. Two chicks, no broody. So I put in the third. Should have been four. I looked around the coop floor, then it peeped at me.

I can't figure out how it got up there. But it looks so cute and proud, haha. Neither of those hens are the broody.

I knew I liked those little chicks. So sweet. They're from my white layers. I think I'll hatch a few more. :D
