oh these are some easy ones today lol.
why couldn't you run a 2x4 from the top of the peak of the ceiling down to where you want them to roost on both ends. Then cut another and screw it into each 2x4 that you run down . It wouldn't have to run the whole length. Stop it short and build the nesting box on the end they you can reach the eggs.

I think if the nesting box is too close to roost height they will roost in the nesting box and give chitty eggs
