There's a pretty good poultry auction just down the road from me, so moving roos isn't really difficult. The pairs go higher, but I can't decide if selling the pairs is worth the extra money. And I can't guarantee they're unrelated pairs, which makes me feel bad. I guess I'll have to see how nice the pullets are. These are for the camp flock.

Twisted, How tired do you have to be to put a tick in your mouth ? that is just nasty. You do know they carry cooties that you can get in more ways then one ? Please slow down. you will never know the difference in 100 yrs. from now. If you have to get "pissy" with your workers then you have the wrong ones.. I am thinking of downsizing my flock by a lot. with the flu rumors no one is buying. what is the next best thing ? dont think i can clean them all and doubt if they would get ate. The seramas would be a waste of time cleaning. I still am doing nothing but dreading winter.

well I was averaging about 4 to 4 1/2 hours a night the previous week. . I did try squishing/decapitation by finger nail but that didn't work. I am thinking that maybe granny needs a fudge injection

Fudge injection would make a world of difference.

Granny, maybe the AI virus will die down before winter and you can downsize then. Seems like winter is the hardest time for the Seramas. They need their own little house with heat. High maintenance for sure! Did any of the eggs hatch and survive? Sorry you're feeling poorly. You must be ready for things to change big time, even the wet weather, but I have a serious case of rain envy. It's always cold when it rains here, full suit of clothes required... sadly.

Fudge injections are awesome !!!! I havent had sugar in a while except for a little tea. Bought mio today for drinks. no nothing in it. blackberry cheery, not bad. took the money from the dog kennel and bought another vacuum and some groceries. Mine can be replaced if i drive it to Lagrange KY. I believe thats a couple hrs. away. for $40. I bought a new one. my van is acting up something with the steering. I need to check the fluid as soon as i can find it. LOL Olga caught a mouse !!!!

Finally, a mouser. 18 yrs. of cats and this is the first mouser. she didnt eat it but looked like she wanted to. The polish is so cute ! My silver laced one has a solid black top. not big for the age. Wishing, I was able to hatch a few seramas ,just not from the one pair that i tried so hard from. Pretty sure her eggs are just too small to continue life past day 11. Prostar, everyone should have that feeling of just simple and complete freedom once. try it sometime. Just not when your neighbors are close. (unless your into that sort of thing).

Lol, I have had many cats in my time - Polo, Dog (don't ask... ), Purrer, Tim, Mog, Kevin, Maggie, and two kittens I didn't name.

Apart from Purrer who is obese, all of the others have been mousers. Tim and Dog (Still don't ask) were born on a farm so were natural mousers. Maggie was a kitten we bought with large ears which is a good indication of a mouser. She was an excellent one until she got pregnant and had a litter of four kittens. We gave away two and kept two and they were awesome mousers as well as the healthiest cats we have ever known in terms of fur, personality and life quality. I think it's because they were never separated from their mother so breast fed a lot. Kevin went missing but Mog is still a great tabby cat.

SOOO, What happened to dog ? and why would you name a cat, dog ? LOL I remember that cartoon. cat dog. Had a dog i named dog. Not much imagination here. My son names them now. he impresses me with some he comes up with. I have had a few cats too. I have 3 barn cats , all great mousers but bring them in the house and they are trouble makers. people around here think that cats should have food 24/7 so why would they want to hunt. they are all to fat. the outside ones get fed every day as well but they eat it all then go looking. even if their not hungry.

I have food out all the time (that's why Purrer is so fat) but the others love the thrill of hunting.

I used to love the cartoon Dog Cat! We got Tim and Dog from my brothers friends at a few weeks old because the mother got hit by a car and there were too many to look after by hand. They were named when we got them. Dog was named because apparently when he was born he looked like a dog. Tim is a ginger cat and Dog was jet black from head to toe, even his whiskers were black! They started wandering due to male hormones, we got Tim neutered in time but Dog had already wandered off and never came back.

crazy dreams last night. very funny . naked people every where. national holiday. either dress up funky or go natural. hahaaa oh well, all this talk must of leaked into my dreams ... One a different note, I took a nap with a rooster yesterday. Ya, now i have done it all. hahaa I was half asleep in my chair when gs comes in with a serama rooster and says he was in Flos pond. I told him to wrap it in a towel to warm it up. 3 hrs. later my gs is waking me up wanting to know if i would like for him to take it back out. Take what back out ???? there was the roo tucked up in its towel under my arm pit just staring at me. My good towel at that !
